The Troop program / fiscal year runs from September 1 through August 31 each year.
Dues are $52 per year. We encourage the Scout to pay $1.00 weekly. This is
not a fee to attend a meeting. Therefore, if a meeting is missed, the Scout would
pay $2.00 the following week.
Several fund raising events are held throughout the program year. Each Scout is
expected to participate in these events, both to help pay their own way to camping outings
and to help with Troop financing.
Troop meetings are held from 7:00p.m. to 8:30p.m. every Thursday evening at Bethany
Lutheran Church in Stony Creek Mills, Pennsylvania.
Meetings are held year 'round.
Exceptions are noted in the monthly newsletter.
Court of Honor meetings are held approximately 4 to 5 times each year. Parents and
family members are encouraged to attend all Court of Honor meetings.
Uniforms are required. A selection of 'experienced' uniforms is available through
the Scoutmaster. These are available for a $5 fee which the troop will use to
replenish the supply of 'experienced' uniforms.
Class 'A', or field, uniforms are required for all formal events.
Class 'B', or Troop T-shirts, are encouraged for casual events.
